Recent history is riddled with examples of sheepish leadership. How about the dot com fiasco where sheep-like investors rushed to invest in anything prefixed with an ‘e-’ or ending in ‘.com’? Fear of loss, greed – whatever the cause, human behaviour can change, and guidelines and unwritten rules abandoned in the sheep-like stampede.
