Since I made the choice to change my behaviour, supported by you, the organisation I lead has had its best ever year. Production ended 15% ahead, operating efficiencies were the best ever and approaching world class. The lead team has developed a compelling vision & purpose for the organisation and have used this for longer term planning of our business strategy, people development and change management. At last I am working at the things I excel at and not just fighting fires. There are still fires to fight but that’s business and we tend to take them in our stride nowadays. They don’t distract us, as they used to. Please understand I am not responsible for making all these great things happen. The excellent people I work with are.
