What is NLP and why is it useful?
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is about the way you use your brain (neuro), how you communicate with yourself and others using verbal and non-verbal language (linguistic), and how your behaviour is a result of the programmes you are running in your mind (programming). It is an attitude of mind, a set of principles and lots of techniques for re-programming the way you think so you can get more of the results you really want.
Neuro Linguistic Programming Training
At Quadrant 1 we use NLP in our in-house customised training programmes and our open programmes to help organisations and individuals make changes to create success in their chosen area. We have a high emphasis on skills and practise and our programmes are facilitated closely by expert NLP trainers. NLP succeeds where traditional training fails to deliver because it works at a much deeper level of values, beliefs and identity and offers a myriad of tools and techniques for fast and effective change.
Our open programmes offer:
- A high trainer to delegate ratio to ensure close facilitation from experienced trainers, maximising the learning experience and understanding of the tools and techniques provided.
- A high return on investment as the skills are transferable and can be used across a broad spectrum of activities including: presenting, personal productivity, selling, decision making, communicating, time management, leadership and confidence building.
- Simple, innovative and highly effective practical tools and techniques, instantly usable in today’s fast moving workplace.
- The opportunity to learn key skills for coaching, leading, aspiring, motivating, engaging, influencing and empowering those around you – essential skills for today’s business professional.
NLP was not created for academic study or intellectual analysis. To know NLP is to short change yourself if you are not skilled enough to use it. To talk about NLP is still missing the point – you can only discover its power by trying it out. So the next time you catch yourself talking about NLP, stop. Practise what it is you are talking about and see how this changes your experience. That’s what NLP was designed for – to give you choice and control over your life experiences – to be at cause rather than effect.
