Rate of progress – or length of inertia – how do you measure a day’s effort?
Wherever we turn these days our clients seem to want to move their organisations forward with increasing speed. The rate at which they expect decisions to be executed and plans implemented will one day soon match the speed of procuring and devouring a big Mac, of this I’m sure.
Whilst committed and well-intentioned employees seem to be doing their level best to keep up with a gushing pipeline of projects and initiatives, without the necessary skills they may find it hard to cope. This then creates an interruption in the flow and causes either a build up in pressure placing stress on other areas of the pipe or a reduction in output. Sure you can reinforce the pipe but this requires additional resources. If there are multiple blockages then the pipe may rupture resulting in loss of profit, customers or employees. Or place so much pressure on the pump at the head of the system that it burns out.
Today there are some very powerful tools for ensuring a smooth flow and removing blockages. First let’s consider some of the main causes:
- Indecision
- Procrastination
- Time distortion
- Reactivity
- Poor collaboration
- Low confidence and anxiety
- Inadequate and/or inappropriate communication
Conventional training is not so good at solving these problems. Even when you are made aware of how you are slowing down progress, the habit is often so deeply ingrained it needs powerful techniques to effect change. Traditional management and leadership courses rarely teach practical personal change techniques.
This is where Quadrant 1 International comes in, using specially designed NLP tools to get to the core of the problem and facilitate rapid change. Hard to believe? Don’t take our word for it; we have many satisfied clients who are enjoying increasing success as a result of attending our Personal Success Programme. Our participants are company directors, HR directors, entrepreneurs, senior managers and project leaders from commercial and public sector organisations.
You know that just one senior manager who is prone to indecision or low collaboration can cost your business dearly – whether you measure this in cost, missed opportunity, frustration or falling behind the competition. You may have tried conventional routes to get your team to pick up the pace, and been disappointed at the results. Indeed you may be looking for a tune-up yourself. In our open and effective learning environment you really can get to the root causes of problems associated with execution and implementation.
Take a look at the RealSuccess Programme. It has been designed to get real time results, for real issues facing you now. The format, style and structure of the programme have been proven over 5 years to deliver valuable outcomes for each and every participant. We have even helped directors who had been ‘written off’ by their exec board to change their behaviour and thinking patterns positively. To change the very behaviour for which they had been dismissed. Most times we catch people before it’s too late. Just because your usual methods haven’t worked, it doesn’t mean it can’t be done.
Just imagine …. the more your team are able to collaborate, the more opportunities they will grasp. As each individual plays an increasingly integral role in turning strategy into implemented plans, so the seemingly tough challenges will take far less effort than you imagine.
A partnership with Quadrant 1 International will ensure your key people are not just ready for change, but proactive in bringing it about and taking full advantage of opportunities created.
Keep the pipeline flowing.
