Role modelling the qualities of leadership is a natural process. Your employees will observe those with authority and emulate their behaviour. This is how your culture is created, and why personal development is so important for creating appropriate models of behaviour.
On our real leadership programme we won’t simply give you leadership theories which may or may not be appropriate for you. Neither will we engage you in generic ideas which may or may not apply to your organisation. Instead we will work with you in the areas which are current for you, your team and your organisation. We will treat you as an individual and explore the challenges presented by the real people who make up your team.
You will gain a heightened awareness of the cause/effect of communication from attitude through to behaviour, and how role modelling works. Using the Leadership Profiler you will identify aspects of your personal style that you want to change and you will learn powerful techniques to help you do so. You will use the Leadership Profiler model for Real Leadership to guide your development.

Starting from within on module 1 you will learn:
- How your thinking and behaviour patterns affect your leadership style, impact others and affect the quality of the work generated by those you are responsible for.
- Tools and techniques for managing your mental and emotional state to deal with the challenges of your role.
- How to develop rock solid beliefs and values to help you on your leadership journey.
- How to eradicate disempowering habits including procrastination, self doubt, uncertainty, distraction, low energy levels and being over-judgemental.
- How to generate empowering ways of engaging with work, including: personal aspirations, effective decision making, clarity, focus, creative thinking, confidence and self-motivation.
On module 2, having had an opportunity to integrate and recognise the impact of progress made from module 1 you will learn:
- How to influence others effectively and elegantly taking account of their motivations, values and thinking patterns.
- How to set powerful outcomes – not just for long term goals but for everything you do – building relationships, making phone calls, holding meetings, sending e-mails, completing projects, strategic planning.
- How to model successful performance in whatever area you choose, design a model and use it to create success in others. With your facilitator you will discuss and design a real time modelling project chosen for its maximum value to you. You will be asked to complete your work-based project between modules 2 and 3.
On module 3 you will:
- Build a success model of leadership from the output of your project. You will use this personalised model as a guide to the way you begin to interact with your work and with others.
- Work closely with your facilitator on your Leadership Profile – identifying areas for change and practising the appropriate techniques.
- Learn strategies and techniques for team creativity and project planning.
- Learn how to lead remote teams and gain commitment and drive from people regardless of your level of authority with them.
Our outcome for you is that you develop an effective leadership style building upon the attitudes and skills you have now rather than force-feeding you with generic assumptions about what constitutes effective leadership. Using this approach you will make rapid positive changes during the course which you will be able to apply instantly within your organisation.
