If you are taking people away from their work to attend your presentation then it is important that there is a return on this investment. Simply passing on information is not enough and can be effected more efficiently by some other means. Whatever you are presenting you are selling to your audience. You may be selling a product or service, an idea, a good feeling about your company, your own professional services, or a different approach to business. Whatever the context, you need to know exactly how you want to affect people, and what you want them to do after your presentation. Think of your presentation as a valuable gift which you want your audience to appreciate, engage with and use once they have left the presentation. What is it you want them to do and how are you going to package it for maximum impact?

Delegates work on real presentations, in a small group of up to 8 people. You will have high quality support and input from the trainer all the way through the programme. Specifically you will learn how to:

- Use a range of powerful language patterns to keep your audience fully engaged and motivated to want more
- Create a new presentation from scratch quickly, without using powerpoint
- Build visual and auditory elements into your delivery to create an inventive and affective message
- Use stories and metaphors to captivate and explain complicated concepts and ideas
- Adapt your voice tone, speed and projection for maximum impact
- Lead your audience using professional stage anchoring techniques
- Communicate to people what you want them to do using compelling persuasion techniques including embedded commands and powerful suggestion
- Deal with all types of question professionally
- Use a range of methods for getting your audience to interact
- Avoid ‘death by powerpoint’ – the success of your presentation depends on your ability to engage your audience not on the quality of your powerpoint slides
- Be confident presenting to any audience even without visual aids or prompts.
- Deliver your key messages credibly and with authority to get the results you want.
How can I achieve this?
You will be asked to bring a 5 minute presentation along with you to this 2 day programme. This can be something you already deliver or something you wish to deliver in the future. Delegates deliver their presentation on the first morning and this is followed by specific input from the trainer together with workshop opportunities for you to build the ideas and techniques into your presentation.
Having redesigned your presentation delegates are asked to re-present their work at the end of the programme. Both before and after videos will be given to you as an electronic video file to take away and to benchmark your progress. Because you will be working on a real presentation this will serve as a practical revision tool and will further support your confidence and delivery in the future. We expect every one of our delegates to significantly improve upon their current performance.
What our customers say
"The impact of Real Presentations was instant. When I started the course I thought I was a pretty decent presenter but I was humbled by the realisation that there was a lot I didn’t know, whilst at the same time I was excited by the opportunity to implement the new techniques I was learning.
My investment has now paid dividends. After delivering a presentation in a highly competitive environment, we have recently been awarded a major government contract. The results speak for themselves."
